Welcome to Good Samaritan United Methodist Church

Worship on Sunday at 9:30 A.M. and 11:15 A.M.

Good Samaritan United Methodist Church is in the southeast part of Tallahassee close to Southwood. We want to be the church of God's dreams. Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind. And Love your neighbor as yourself.'" Luke 10:27 If that's the greatest commandment, that is where we start visioning with God. We believe God's love is best experienced and shared through loving relationships in the family, in the neighborhood, and in the greater community, locally and globally. We want our friends to feel the love of God working through us, no matter who they are. God created all people with a need for community, identity, and purpose. In a healthy Christian community all these needs are met and the Kingdom of this world becomes the Kingdom of our God! Our calling is to do as Jesus commands. We believe that the Kingdom of God expands and we grow in the love of Christ as we enjoy Worshiping, Learning, Serving, and Playing Together.
