Good Sam Hikes

Let’s take a hike in the cool weather! Good Samaritan’s Creation Care ministry will have a hike at Birdsong Nature Center near Thomasville. We will meet at the Bradfordville Publix, 6753 Thomasville Rd. The hike will cover 3 to 4 miles over two hours so children are not recommended and pets are not allowed. Dress for the weather with comfortable shoes and layers in case we get warm. Optional Christmas shopping or socializing in Thomasville afterwards.

Women Together Christmas Party

Good Samaritan’s Women Together group would like to invite all the ladies of Good Sam to their annual Christmas Party! Please join us at Melissa Walton’s home (contact for address) for a fun afternoon of food, fun and fellowship. There will be a White Elephant gift exchange, if you would like to participate please bring a gift. Gifts should be around a $15 value.

Midweek Grind

Join our Lay Leader, Tracy Rose at her “Midweek Grind” gathering at Argonaut Cafe at Cascade Park where the lgbtqia+ community and allies gather and talk about life and faith and what that looks like for each of us. We do this over coffee and conversations, understanding we are all on our own journey and no one’s journey is the same. But knowing we, as a community can support each other.
