Join in the fun of celebrating the Fastest 2 minutes in sports! Don your hats and bowties, your comfy clothes and join us at the Statens’ house, Kids are welcome! Bring a lawn chair, a dish to share and your own beverage of choice if you prefer something other than tea, lemonade, and water.

You will have a chance to gain points throughout the afternoon by participating in different events.   At the end of the Derby Race, those with the most points will receive prizes!

· Derby Hat and bowtie (men and women) : most colorful, most fun/unique, and most likely to be
seen at the track
· Cornhole / hula hoop /  water balloon toss / and more
· Draw the winning horse for each of the races

Midweek Grind

Join our Lay Leader, Tracy Rose at her “Midweek Grind” gathering at Argonaut Cafe at Cascade Park where the lgbtqia+ community and allies gather and talk about life and faith and what that looks like for each of us. We do this over coffee and conversations, understanding we are all on our own journey and no one’s journey is the same. But knowing we, as a community can support each other.
