Zoe Empowers

Good Samaritan has committed to invest in Zoe Empowers “Half Group Partnership”, a commitment of donating $4,250 each year, for three years to the program. With this commitment we will be empowering 30 to 50 orphaned and vulnerable children to become entrepreneurs who are socially, economically, and spiritually strong. Donations can be made with check or cash or through our online giving HERE.

For more information on Zoe Empowers be sure to join us on February 27th as we hear from Molly McEntire, the Florida Conference Mission Training and Volunteer Coordinator or visit their website HERE.

Homeless Mats
Third Saturday of every Month, 1:00pm
Good Samaritan Foyer

Did you know that while plastic bags can be recycled, they require a different process that the City of Tallahassee does not provide listing plastic bags as “Not for Recycling?” Join us as we work to transform those plastic bags into portable sleeping mats for the homeless, helping the environment and the homeless at the same time!

Did you know each mat can take as many as 800 plastic bags to complete?! Bag donations can be dropped off at the Academy M-F or at Church on Sunday mornings.

Blessing Bags

We have started a new outreach and need your help! We are in continuous need of items and/or financial donations to assist in filling each Blessing Bag for the homeless and less fortunate. Each Blessing Bag contains one of each of the following items:
Granola bars, peanut butter crackers, small water bottles, tooth paste, tooth brush, socks, mask, bar of soap, wash cloth, small hand sanitizer, razor and deodorant.

If you would like to assist in the distribution of completed Blessing Bags they can be picked up on Sunday mornings.
